Memory is looking for an exceptional Head of Acquisition Marketing to help take our well-funded and rapidly growing B2B SaaS to the next level.

At Memory, we believe knowledge work is broken, but with your help we might just fix it.

Powered by artificial intelligence and over 50 brilliant minds, we craft software that helps people do their very best work. That includes you – we trust you to work on your own terms, define your schedule and directly influence where we’re headed. You know where you’re most productive, which is why you can work from our Oslo HQ, or remotely from anywhere in the world as long as you’re available during 9AM – 3PM Oslo time. Whatever works; we’re here for your best.

Reporting to the VP of New Revenue, you will form a critical part of our management team. This is a cross-channel role—predominantly digital, but all channels can be explored—with a global remit. If you are strongly data-driven, comfortable defining and executing acquisition marketing strategies, and excited to be a key part of a career-defining growth story, this role is for you.

Leading with a hands-on approach, you will guide a talented team of performance marketing, web design, and conversion experts, and own several key agency relationships. With full budget responsibility, you will quickly become an expert on where to find and engage SMBs that fit our Ideal Customer Profiles, as well as how to progress them through to talking with Sales or starting a self-serve trial.

The Head of Acquisition Marketing is responsible for the strategy, execution, and analysis of all marketing activities that generate trials and sales leads to support Memory’s rapid growth. You will work closely with key members of our team leading Comms, Lifecycle Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to put a cohesive strategy in place across every customer touchpoint.

Specifically, you will:

  • Define and own Memory’s acquisition marketing strategy, targets, and budget to generate relevant trials and leads;
  • Lead the acquisition marketing team to grow and optimise lead generation through digital and, potentially, offline channels;
  • Identify new, creative, and scalable ways to win customers whilst continually improving our existing channels through data-driven decision making and a test-and-learn mindset;
  • Demonstrate strong people management skills to build and retain a talented team of specialists;
  • Drive planning and reporting on key customer acquisition metrics to ensure transparency and unlock new opportunities for growth;

You are a passionate, digital-first marketer who is an energetic, smart, always-learning, and collaborative team-player. Motivated and excited to build a career-defining journey, you will:

  • Have proven and extensive track record in delivering business growth (either client or agency side), ideally in B2B SaaS in the SMB space;
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of acquisition channels such as performance marketing and organic channels. Experience of supporting both assisted and unassisted buyer journeys is a bonus;
  • Share extensive knowledge to bring best practices to the table, driving growth in trials and MQLs that convert to quality paying customers;
  • Be experienced in building customer-centric campaigns through both on- and offline activities to ensure a world-class experience for customers that engage;
  • Be a non-hierarchical team leader, helping team members grow through coaching and mentorship, and willing to roll up their sleeves and work alongside them;
  • Have experience in a fast-growth, early-stage business where you have defined core processes, cross-functional working practices, and set the vision for acquisition marketing;
  • Have strong business acumen, being able to identify, prioritise, and translate actions into stellar business results;
  • Be highly data literate, using insights to challenge our thinking, and make informed decisions and recommendations;
  • Have strong written and spoken English, with a keen understanding of remote-first communication.

  • Work from our Oslo HQ, Pune office, or remotely from anywhere in Europe (as long as you’re available 9AM – 3PM Oslo time)
  • A competitive compensation package and stock options in a fast-growing startup
  • Flexible working hours and complete ownership over your schedule
  • Autonomy as a master of your own work
  • Direct influence over where we’re heading — your voice will be heard
  • A diverse, inclusive, and high-performance culture

Trust, open-mindedness, curiosity, respect, and fun are just a few of our values in Memory. We are looking for people who understand this culture and will thrive in a team of people passionate about self-improvement, honesty, and openness.

We strive to be the place where you can be the best version of yourself. We embrace diversity and invite applications from people from all walks of life. We believe people with different backgrounds can create better results together. We want to get our hands dirty and build the next big tech company.

We are looking for extraordinary people to join us. Are you one of them?
