Memory is looking to hire a Lead Content Creator who can support our growth through the production, editing, and delivery of excellent and engaging digital content.

Memory has an exciting story to tell and we want to tell it everywhere, across all the platforms our users love.

You have experience scaling the growth of cutting edge content in a fast moving technology company, achieving some big growth milestones, using innovative content, digital and video strategies to create engaging output.

We want someone who:

  • Has a portfolio of work that showcases their experience creating digital content and knows how to use their skills to help take our growth to the next level.
  • Has helped create exciting digital content and grown high-traffic blogs before and can do it again
  • Is confident creating in a range of formats: social video, audio, SEO-driven blog content, product-focused content, gated content assets and more
  • Loves to create in a fast-paced environment
  • Has an in-depth understanding of growth marketing
  • Has an analytical mind, and is interested in using data to optimize content marketing strategies and tactics
  • Has excellent communication skills and is a creative and lateral thinker
  • Someone who is creative, entrepreneurial and comfortable with shifting priorities

We want you to:

  • Develop creative content ideas which resonate with our target audiences
  • Analyze, recommend and lead the implementation of content and digital initiatives that have high search traffic and growth potential
  • Drive our social video creation
  • Write articles, blogs and other resources
  • Provide feedback to other contributors and edit their work
  • Turn our content output into different formats for a mixture of channels
  • Repurpose content ideas into social media posts, webinars, videos and email newsletters
  • Test and optimize everything you do to improve acquisition
  • Collaborate on channel-specific marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate with designers, writers, contributors, and anyone else involved in the production of content to deliver an amazing final product

The interview process

We hate awful, extended interview cycles that mean the candidate has no idea what is happening. So our interview process is fast. You will get a yes or no answer from us within two weeks of your initial application.

That is because we want to find great people and get to work right away. Hopefully, you feel the same.

  • Submit your application → Resume, motivation, and your portfolio (if you have one) — you know the drill!
  • 30-min intro call → This meeting will be with our Head of Communications, and we’ll talk about your background, your ambitions, and how to create great content. No need to prep anything!
  • Call with the team → Meet your potential new teammates. You’ll be talking to some of your potential colleagues in this chat. The focus will be on how you’d collaborate with the team.
  • Finally, we ask people to perform a 1-hour task to understand how they work.
