Here at Memory, we’re looking for a paid media specialist to lead our paid performance channels. It’s an exciting time to be joining the team, with channel expansion on the horizon, you’ll be able to apply your commercial acumen to a wide variety of activities. From paid search to affiliates; paid social to connected TV ads, and everything in between.

 

Obviously, you’re going to need to be highly analytical, but equally we’re looking for someone who can read in between the lines of data and draw insight for the team to work on. As the go-to expert you’ll have the power to drive the strategy and conversation around your channels.

 

Working in either GMT, GMT+1 or GMT-5 time zones, this role would suit someone with a diverse experience marketing to USA, UK, and central EU countries – where you work is up to you though – we’re a remote first company (with opportunity to travel to Oslo HQ).

 

Reporting to the head of acquisition marketing, this role would suit someone with 5+ years experience driving results and growth through paid spend.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with the head of acquisition marketing to devise a robust and clear roadmap strategy for Memory’s paid media activity
  • Accountable for running the day to day of our paid media activity
  • Keyword research, audience refinement, ad testing… you know the score
  • Leverage multiple data points to optimize campaigns to drive revenue growth and lowering CAC
  • Working agilely you’ll move the budget of our paid media puzzle with a scale up mentality
  • Researching new channels to drive expansion, growth, and returns
  • Work with internal and external partners like Google and Facebook to resolve account issues and ensure swift resolutions
  • Collaborate with all marketing members to ensure the paid acquisition marketing is in line with the overall marketing strategy
  • Report on competitor marketing and market trends to better optimize channels
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and the evolving digital landscape
  • Managing external partner relationships

Requirements

  • Native/Fluent English speaker
  • Agile / scale up mentality
  • Available to work GMT, GMT+1 or GMT-5 time zones
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) optimizing paid media campaigns to meet business objectives - B2B SaaS (either agency or in house) preferred
  • Love data, analytics and surfacing insights - methodical with great attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Google Ads

  • Experience with Linkedin Ads
  • Bid management tools
  • Experience using Google Analytics
