How does it work? Simple!
The Timesheet Assistant learns from your logging habits through Timely’s Memory feature, (If you’ve connected Memory or Timely time tracking integrations, and you’re using the next-gen Timeline then you’re all set to try it out). Once it identifies patterns, it suggests time entries that fit your workflow.
When it’s ready, the button turns green, and with one click, your hours are assigned to the right projects—complete with tags and notes. And don’t worry, you’re always in control to review and adjust entries as needed. With AI activated, your Timesheet Assistant starts to learn approx. 15-30 minutes after you start logging your time. Once your Timesheet Assistant’s suggestions start popping up, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without this feature!

Your Timesheet Assistant continuously improves as you make adjustments to your time entries, getting better over time. It works on your terms and you can choose to:
• Let it suggest entries while you review and fine-tune each one.
• Prefer a more hands-off approach? Let it automatically log time based on what it’s learned, ready for your approval.
Choose Your Timesheet Style
To keep things simple, the assistant lets you pick from three timesheet styles—Exact, Efficient, and Concise—so you can decide how detailed or streamlined you want your logs. Your chosen style influences how entries are created, but you can always review the Assistant’s suggestions in the new Timesheet Assistant column before hitting that final save.
