Product Owner
This role is available for the following location:
Preferable locations: Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen or London.
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to guide the continued development of Timely. The ideal candidate will balance diverse stakeholder inputs with the product's overarching vision, ensuring Timely's direction remains consistent and true to its core objectives. They will report directly to the VP of Product & Engineering and act as the main liaison between users and our development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Idea Translation: Convert high-level ideas into detailed user stories and requirements that are actionable and clear for the development team.
- Product Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring the development team has a well-refined set of tasks ready for upcoming sprints.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with customers and internal stakeholders, gathering, refining, and prioritizing product requirements. Exhibit strength and decisiveness when managing stakeholder and customer expectations.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, guide, and motivate a diverse team of developers, designers, and QA specialists. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high-quality output.
- Product Releases: Oversee Timely's release activities, coordinating with commercial and support teams to support their go-to-market activities efficiently.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor Timely's performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives. Report findings regularly to the management team, influencing product strategy.
- Commitment Management: Ensure all product-related commitments are delivered within agreed-upon timelines.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry best practices, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
- Feedback Loop: Incorporate a robust feedback mechanism from both users and internal teams, ensuring that insights are driven by data. Use analytics to deepen understanding of the user experience, directly informing product enhancements, and driving better commercial outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Proven (3+ years) experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role, preferably within a high-volume SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Experience in leading and motivating remote teams, with proficiency in remote collaboration tools.
