How to get started
Connecting Asana to Timely is straightforward and takes just a few clicks. Head over to the Settings > Ecosystem section in Timely, select Asana under the Sync Integration section, and follow the prompts to connect. Our help center article provides a step-by-step guide to help you through the process.
This integration is available for users on our Premium, Unlimited, and Unlimited + plans. You’ll need admin access in both Timely and Asana to set up the sync. Once connected, you’ll be prompted to select which of your Asana Projects you want to sync, ensuring that everything aligns perfectly.
What’s synced?
- Projects: Any active project in Asana will automatically sync with Timely, ensuring both platforms are up-to-date.
- Tasks and Users: Tasks from Asana sync to Timely, along with their assigned users. If you log time against an imported task in Timely, that time will be reflected in Asana as well.
- Tags: Tags from Asana will appear as individual tags in Timely, helping you organize your work more effectively.
